Children's Church

During our Summer Worship schedule Simpson is offering a newly formed Children's Church. Children 1st grade and up will go with the Children's Worship leaders to the Sanford Room following the Children's Message in regular worship. They will return to the worship service to join their parents for the last hymn. There will still be a nursery with activities during this time for children in kindergarten and younger.

Weekly prayer group.

The Prayer, Share & Care Group meets weekly on Tuesdays, at 10am in the Sanford Room of the church. Anyone wishing to join this dedicated group is welcome.

Marshall County Food Pantry

The House of Carpenter II is a ministry of Simpson Church providing food, clothing, and small household items to Marshall county residents in need. The House of Carpenter II is run solely by volunteers and hours of operation are Wednesdays 9am-11:30am. Anyone in need should register there, bringing with them proof of Marshall county residence and SSN# for each person in their household. Monetary donations to the House of Carpenter II are always appreciated. At present, a drive for NEW toys is in place for their big Christmas give away.

AA, NA, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Youth Club of Marshall County

Many community groups utilize the church building throughout the week. Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts, and the Youth Club of Marshall County.

Beautiful handmade shawls

A group of women have begun a prayer shawl ministry crocheting handmade shawls. As the shawls are crocheted, the group prays "with each stitch" for the person they are making it for.

Aimed at Jr. & Sr. High youth

Mondays at 6pm Simpson offers the opportunity for area junior and senior youth (7th -12th grades)to attend the Simpson Church Youth Group meetings held on the top floor of the church in the "Wilderness Room". Youth Director is Valarie Randolph. Assistant is Clarence Campbell. The Youth Group is open to ALL area youth regardless of their affiliation with the church.

Simpson UMC offers Sunday classes for all age groups during the school year.

Led by a dedicated team of volunteers, Simpson UMC offers Sunday school classes for children, youth and adults of all ages. Classes are offered at 10am (between worship services during the school term). Many short term classes and mid-week classes are offered throughout the year as well.
