Teresa Markins is married to Greg Markins. They are both originally from the Huntington, WV area. They have two children who live in the Huntington area. Teresa received her undergraduate degree from Marshall University in Huntington, WV (1997) and her Masters of Divinity from Duke University Divinity School in Durham, NC (2001). Teresa was appointed to serve Simpson, July 2008 after serving Lavalette UMC, Lavalette, WV for seven years. She also served as a student pastor/youth pastor for three years at Mt. Bethel UMC of Bahama, NC and Dillon Chapel UMC in Huntington for three years. Teresa is passionate and excited about ministering with God's people both in the church and in the world.

Karen Estep, Office Manager, is the friendly voice you hear on the phone line. A Moundsville native, Karen is married to Roy Estep and has two sons, Josh and Zach. She is a member of Simpson UMC, a graduate of WV Northern Community College, and a part of the church staff since 1989. In addition to being the receptionist and answering the phone, as Office Manager, is responsible for the church office. This includes being the "server" for a network of computers, updating of computer programs, receipt and transmittal of electronic mail, inventory and ordering of church office supplies, coordinating church calendar and being proficient on many computer software programs for church management of membership, contributions, attendance and etc, and various word processing programs. With ever-changing technology, we strive to keep up with the demand and the pace while still serving a ministry to the person off the street that comes into the office for various types of personal assistance.

Debby Whitlatch, Christian Education Director. A Moundsville native, Debby is married to Randy Whitlatch and has one son, Kelsey. She is a member of Simpson UMC and has been a part of the church staff since 1996. As CED, Debby orders the curriculum for the various small groups and church school classes for all ages at the church, coordinates the Sunday School teachers and helpers, and Vacation Bible School. The Education Department is a vital part of Simpson Church.

Corrine Anderson, AM Custodian. A Moundsville native, Corrine is married to Chuck Anderson. She has been a part of the church staff since 2004. Corrine is responsible for various tasks involved with cleaning and setup throughout the church building Monday through Friday during the daytime hours.

Jacilyn Cardosy, Organist and Director of Contemporary Worship. An Ohio native, Jacilyn is married to the Rev. Jack Fisher who pastors the Martins Ferry UMC. Jacilyn has been a part of the church staff since 2004. Jacilyn is an essential part of the Daybreak Worship Service coordinating the music selections and style to compliment the scripture and message each Sunday. She is an accomplished composer and song writer, and very talented and gifted pianist and organist.

Thelma Gitlin, Chancel Choir and Handbell Choir Director. A Moundsville native, Thelma has been a permanent fixture at Simpson Church having been a part of the church staff since 1966. Thelma is always willing to assist and instruct anyone willing to work on their voice. A gifted voice teacher, Thelma has many students who have been a part of our worship service gracing us with solos throughout the years.

Valarie Randolph, Youth Director. A Moundsville native, Valarie is married to Tim Randolph and has four daughters, Alexis, Abigail, Faith and Delaney. Valarie is a member of Simpson UMC and has been a part of the church staff since 2004. She works with the Jr. & Sr. Youth Group which is always open to new members.

Marlene Yoho, Nursery Worker. A Moundville native, Marlene has one grown daughter, Julie. Marlene is a member of Simpson UMC and has been a part of the church staff since 2006.
